Privacy Policy

Bao Chinese is an offline-first Mandarin learning app operated by Xianwuli Interactive LLC ("we", "us").

What we collect

We do not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Your lesson progress, review schedule and settings are stored locally on your device.

Permissions

The Google Play build requests only the vibration permission, used for optional haptic feedback. It has no internet permission. All 661 audio clips are bundled with the app.

Progress and backups

Progress stays on your device unless you export a JSON backup and choose where to save or send it. Deleting the app removes its local progress.

Children

Bao Chinese is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
